Required Ingredients
- 500g MeatChicken, Beef or Mutton
- Basmati rice – 500 g2 ½ cups (soak for 30 minutes)
- Onion – 3 pieces (250 g)(Medium, thinly sliced)
- Tomato – 3 pieces (250 g)(Medium, thinly sliced)
- Yogurt (beaten)1 ¼ cup (250 g)
- Garlic paste2 tbsp
- Ginger paste2 tbsp
- Oil – (150 g)¾ cup
- Erva Biryani Masala1 packet
Steps of Cooking
- Cook onions in hot oil till golden. Add meat, ginger & garlic. Cook for 5 minutes. Add yogurt & Erva Biryani Recipe Mix. Cook for 5 minutes at normal temperature.
- Add water (Chicken 1 glass, beef/mutton 3 to 4 glasses). Cover and cook until the meat is tendered.
- Add tomatoes. Fry on high heat until oil splits.
- Boil the rice in 12 cups of water & 3 tbsp of salt until done. Then drain the water.
- Spread some oil from gravy in the bottom of a pan. Layer half of the rice, and add the curry. Then, top it with another layer of rice. Sprinkle yellow food color if desired.
- Cover the pan and cook on high heat for 3 minutes. Then reduce the temperature and cook for another 10 minutes. And the tasty biryani made with Erva Biryani recipe mix is now ready to be enjoyed.
